Law Offices of Cory Cannon, PLLC (“Cory Cannon” or the “firm”) does not represent you unless the firm completes any required conflict review and both you and the firm sign a written engagement agreement. The firm may decline a matter for any lawful reason and is not required to explain that decision.

A website submission does not guarantee a response. It does not stop a statute of limitation, statute of repose, notice period, contractual deadline, court deadline, or any other time limit. The firm takes reasonable measures to safeguard information, but an unsolicited website submission may not be privileged and may not prevent the firm from representing another person, subject to applicable law and professional responsibility rules. Do not assume that silence, an automated page, or an acknowledgment means the firm has accepted your matter.

Form Acknowledgment and Permission to Respond

The website inquiry form requires you to select a checkbox before submission. By selecting it and submitting the form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are authorized to provide it, and that you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You authorize Cory Cannon to contact you by telephone, text message, or email about the request using the contact information you provide. This permission is limited to responding to your inquiry and related intake communications. It does not enroll you in marketing.

Marketing Communications

The website inquiry checkbox does not authorize marketing. If the firm later asks for permission to send marketing emails, calls, or text messages, that request will be separate and optional. Marketing consent is not a condition of hiring the firm or receiving legal services.

Any separate marketing-consent request will identify the communication methods and material terms that apply, including the use of automated dialing technology or an artificial or prerecorded voice, when applicable. Text Message Terms

Messages based on the website inquiry checkbox are limited to responses to your inquiry and related intake communications, including scheduling information. Marketing messages, legal-information updates, and firm news require separate marketing consent. Message frequency varies based on your interactions and preferences. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply under your carrier plan.

Reply STOP to opt out of marketing text messages. Reply HELP for help. We may send one message confirming an opt-out. A marketing opt-out does not prevent communications that you specifically request or communications reasonably necessary for an existing attorney-client relationship, subject to applicable law. Contact the firm through the contact page if a keyword request is not processed or if you want to revoke consent by another reasonable method.

Email and Telephone Marketing Choices

Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method and the firm’s postal address. Use the unsubscribe link to stop marketing email. You may ask the firm to stop marketing telephone calls through the contact page or by communicating the request during a call. Allow a reasonable processing period permitted by law. The firm may retain a limited suppression record to honor the request.

A dispute arising solely from use of this website must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Hillsborough County, Florida, unless applicable law requires a different forum. This section does not govern the venue of a client’s underlying legal matter.

Changes, Severability, and Waiver

We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
